This copy actually allowed me to open the files individually and view the textures. It made it exponentially easier to clean up my downloads folder because I could now view the '1328687rdf87sd2f7s32ft825dff.package' type files that result from expanding Sims2Packs. After properly sorting my downloads and deleteing content I no longer needed/liked and excecuting the file limit fix my game loaded again.
