I didn't lose my Jailbreak because I waited it out instead. Back in January we had a power outage while I was using WiFi updating Anemone.
Immediately when the power went out, wifid crashed and corrupted data in a few Apps that were running in the background. Ever since that day I could no longer Install, Delete or Update any Apps. Uicache was broken and locked up Terminal until a hard reset or the battery died. I had to install FastLoading to be able to use Cydia or it would just sit at 'Loading' until the battery died. 'Loading' is Cydia refreshing uicache AppStore apps failed to download or update.
The circles just filled up but the icon never shows up and it gets stuck there forever waiting to install but it can't without being able to add any new icons. Safe Mode made no difference.
Even with FastLoading installed to skip the uicache refresh in Cydia installing Anemone updates were a pain because the Developer has a script in the installer to perform uicache itself. So for any Anemone updates when it got to 'Loading' I had to close Cydia which locked up the phone requiring a hard reset.
This causes a 'Half-Installed Package' message to appear in Cydia. Meridian software document management. To fix that, after every update of Anemone I then had to hard reset the phone again and open iFile and go to /var/lib/dpkg/info/com.anemonetheming.anemone.postinst and remove the last line 'su mobile -c 'uicache' and reboot again. Then open Cydia to finish installing Anemone. I went from Late January of this year stuck with whatever Apps I had installed with no way to safely delete them.
Going to wiggle mode and deleting an App would only make the App reappear on respring or reboot. Manage Storage in Settings was stuck spinning and the battery would just die before it stopped spinning.
I wasn't about to try deleting any Apps with iFile or iFunbox because I wasn't going to risk a respring loop later. I was manually updating App Store Apps by extracting the.IPA file updates from iTunes on my computer and replacing the contents of the App with iFunbox and then fixing the Execute permissions. ITunes couldn't make backups because of the corruption anymore nor could third party programs such as CopyTrans. Also iCloud backups failed every time.
A huge pain in the ass but I wasn't going to lose my Jailbreak for anything so I waited it out until the iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak. Updated in iTunes instead of Restoring and kept all my data. Used App Admin to downgrade and then update the few Apps that were still broken from the power surge or simply refused to work after the manual update workaround. So far so good! Okay so after hours of looking around for the solution to this problem as I was having the exact same 2 errors I have figured out the fix.
First you want to delete all the files associated with pgcheck through cydia. Next we want to add these to repos to your sources tab. And Next you want to go to the coolstar repo's development section and download and install Perl (its version should be 5.22.0 when you click on the package). The final step is to go to the load.sh repo's utilities section and download and install pgcheck. Everything should install perfectly fine without the sub process post-installation script returned error exit status 137 and sub-process /usr/libexec/cydia/cydo returned an error code (1).
The reason we were getting that error is because we are on iOS 9.3.3 and the pgcheck package automatically downloads an outdated version of Perl (ver. 5.19.0) which was what was causing those two errors.
